A new project titled "MCD Indian Lane" has been registered with the state, signaling a brand-new McDonald's is coming to the intersection of East Chapman Drive (FM 455) and Indian Lane. The $1.5 million project involves the ground-up construction of a 4,061-square-foot restaurant on the Southwest Corner of the intersection. Eyewitness recounts shooting
At 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, a shooting took place at the Valero Pit Stop in Bolivar. Bryce Peters, a recent Sanger High School graduate, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The victim, who was shot, is currently in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Peters remains in Denton County Jail and was denied bail by a judge this week. Sanger ISD Board calls Bond Election to address growth

H-E-B purchases 600 acres just north of Sanger
H-E-B, recently announced, they have purchased 600 acres just north of Sanger. The land connects between Metz Road and W. Lone Oak Road, on the west side of I-35. The project is part of a multi-phase plan to develop the property, but not for a grocery store. The land is located just north of Chisam Road just inside the Cooke County Line.
