Jersey Mike’s Subs to open at Sanger Crossing

Jersey Mike’s Subs is coming to Sanger Crossing, on the east side of Tom Thumb, according to Joe Askew - Vice President of Development for Malouf Interest.  It will be located at 1409 W. Chapman Drive, Suite 500.

State filings reveal plans for a $105,000 commercial renovation. The 1,400-square-foot project involves an interior build-out within an existing retail shell building. 

Construction on the new Sanger Jersey Mike’s is scheduled to kick off late this year on December 1, 2026, targeting a six-month build-out with completion expected by May 31, 2027. There are nearly 3,500 Jersey Mike’s locations in the United States. 

Sanger Crossing is becoming a popular destination for national chain restaurants with Tom Thumb as the anchor of the retail/commercial development.  Whataburger and Panda Express, recently opened and Popeye’s Louisana Kitchen is expected to break ground soon.  Wings over USA-Sanger has started renovations for their shell location, next to Tom Thumb and Dorado Nail Salon.  

Brakes Plus has started their building, as well, at 1655 W. Chapman Drive, next to 7-Brew. They offer brake repair, brake pads, rotors, oil changes, alignments and full-service auto care.  The completion date is February 2027 and the estimated cost is $1,500,000 on the 4,950 sq. ft. building.
