Wondering how the 2026 Bond could impact you financially?
Vote Yes Sanger ISD Bond 2026 group broke it down in a simple way so you can see estimated tax increases based on home value—with the $140K homestead exemption included.
For example, the average home value in Sanger is around $356K, which would be about $21/month based on current estimates.
This isn’t about opinions—it’s about understanding the numbers and how they may affect your household.
• Take a look at the chart and see where your home value falls.
• Educate yourself. Know the facts.
Some facts are that Ponder ISD has a $290 million bond and Pilot Point a $295 million bond on the May ballot. Krum passed a $275 million bond a few years ago. Sanger passed a $130 million bond in 2022 and when you add the $68 million bond now being proposed by Sanger ISD, it doesn’t compare to those three neighboring towns bond amounts.
Voters in Sanger would see an approximate 11-cent increase in the tax rate. Homeowners who have filed and received the Over 65 exemption will not see an increase with their frozen dollar amount.
There are more than 12,500 home sites in 19 planned subdivisions in the Sanger ISD zone.
Early Voting is April 20-28 and election day is May 2.
There are three Town Hall Meetings on April 9, 15 and 22.
