Here’s everything you need to know to plan your visit to the Harvest Festival 2 Day Market.
History of the Market
Ranking number 2 in the top ten farmers’ markets in Texas, the Downtown Sanger Farmers’ Market opened March 2023 with 21 vendors. Over the past 2 years it has hosted over 35 vendors 1st and 3rd Saturday and 3rd Sunday at the Stephen Baker Field. The Moonlight Market debut downtown has been the most successful market to date with over 40 vendors and over 1300 people in attendance. The farmers’ market board is working with the City of Sanger and Sanger City Counsel to plan out the details for the move downtown to host the market on the Sanger Square year-round. Keep an eye out for the official announcement and posting of next season's market calendar.
“It’s possible that the move could happen for the remaining markets of the 2024 season.” Amber, the market manager explains. “We put in a special event permit for the November markets and are waiting to hear back.”
