Several new businesses slated for Sanger

There’s a lot happening in Sanger... Jack in the box has poured the foundation for their new fast-food restaurant. It will be located next to Holiday Inn Express. Sanger Bank purchased the EIKON building at 1405 West Chapman Drive last year and is completely remodeling it. They are hoping to be relocated before the end of 2023. In other local business news - QT is opening in a few weeks and Starbucks next month. A new medical office, owned by Dr. Reed on Chapman Drive is near completion; Some new restaurants are opening in Sanger - Villa Grande Mexican Restaurant will open next to Roma’s Italian and Bear’s Cafe will open soon in downtown Sanger, where K’s Gourmet was located.

And lastly, AutoZone and Scooter’s Coffee are slated for Sanger. Scooter’s will be located at the old Snap Shop site on the northeast side of I-35 & FM 455. AutoZone has purchased the commercial property next to Dr. Richard Perry’s Office on west Chapman Drive.

And yes, the City of Sanger has negotiated a national chain grocery store to be built on property purchased behind the current Jack in the Box. Developers aren’t able to announce the name and it could be a few years before construction begins on the retail shopping center. The 131 acre residential and commercial development zoning change was approved last December by the City Council.
