Sanger Education Foundation’s Annual Gala raises nearly $100,000

The Sanger Education Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this year’s 2025 Gala a resounding success. Thanks to the generosity of the donors, sponsors, attendees, auction participants, and online supporters, as they raised just under $100,000 to support the students of Sanger ISD.  

The evening was filled with excitement and generosity, with guests enjoying a variety of live andsilent auction items, games, and fellowship. A special highlight of the live auction included PepperBelly’s incredible donation of not one but two Catering packages for 50 people, which collectively raised nearly $4,600. A new live auction donor, Texas Duck Creek Labradors, contributed a precious 13-week-old puppy, which brought in an impressive $5,500.

This year’s auction featured a wide array of sought-after items, with 97 silent auction packages and 15 live auction packages, ensuring there was something for everyone. Jeff Isbell, who was attending the event for the first time, won the coveted Golden Ticket prize. The exciting Heads or Tails gamecrowned Sherry McCandless as its winner.

“While the Gala has come to an end, we are still accepting donations in support of our students.Additionally, we are currently reviewing over $107,000 in Teacher Academic Instructional Grant applications submitted by SISD teachers and administrators. The selected 2025-2026 InstructionalGrant recipients will be awarded and announced in May 2025.”

Student scholarship applications are open now and are due by midnight on March 25, Grant recipientswill be awarded during Senior Night.
