Last month, the Sanger ISD Board of Trustees voted to approve the hiring of Dr. Logan Lacy as the new Principal of Sanger Middle School for the 2023-2024 school year.
Dr. Lacy comes to Sanger Middle School from Brady ISD, where he currently serves as the Principal of Brady High School. Dr. Lacy has 7 years of experience in school administration, and describes himself as a “relationship focused leader who has a passion for empowering others by creating environments of trust and collaboration.”
Dr. Lacy obtained his Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University after obtaining his Master of Education and Bachelor of Science degrees from University of Texas at Arlington. He holds his Generalist 4-8 Certification in addition to his EC-12 Principal Certification.
“My family and I are excited to join the Sanger ISD Tribe,” says Dr. Lacy. “From the beginning, we felt that Sanger ISD could be our home for years to come and a great community for us to serve. I appreciate the warm reception I have already received from staff and community members alike. We look forward to transitioning into the community very soon.”
An opportunity for parents and students to meet Dr. Lacy will take place in August before the start of next school year.
