New Sanger High School is taking shape

The 280,000 sf new Sanger High School campus has been under construction since October 2023 and progress is susbstantial. The new school will have a capacity of 1,400 students and include four academic wings and a centrally located administration suite. Three wings contain core subjects, science labs, small collaboration spaces, and a 100-seat lecture hall. The fourth wing contains Career and Technology Education spaces that include a culinary lab and bistro, a floral design lab and an audio/video lab. The campus is arranged around a large, secured outdoor courtyard that can be used by students during the day or for after school events.

The new building features a traditional design with components such as cast stone accents, brick masonry, and a central entry tower. The campus will also feature a competition gymnasium, a storm shelter, and a new athletic field house.

The funding for the new Sanger High School campus was included in the May 2022 bond and is on schedule to open its doors at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
