Moonlight Market series starts Saturday, June 7th

Downtown Sanger will come alive with activity on the evening of Saturday, June 7, as the city’s popular Moonlight Market returns for another season. The event, which draws hundreds of visitors from across the metroplex, will run from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and feature more than 75 vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, and family-friendly attractions.

Hosted in the heart of downtown Sanger, the Moonlight Market has quickly become a seasonal staple for residents and visitors alike. Attendees can expect a wide variety of local offerings, including fresh produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, handcrafted items, artisan soaps, plants, honey, and more. Winona Orchards will be among the featured vendors, bringing a fresh selection of peaches, blueberries, blackberries, and plums as well as Honestly Texas rice who will be coming all the way from Brookshire, TX bringing their freshly-milled Texas rice. 

A diverse array of food trucks will also be on site, serving up crowd favorites such as burgers, brats, Thai and Japanese cuisine, and Oscar’s Street Tacos. For those looking to cool down or satisfy a sweet tooth, the market will offer snow cones from Blake’s Snow Shack, kettle corn, cotton candy, iced coffees, and dirty sodas.

Entertainment will be provided by Ty Junah, a local musician from Sanger, who will perform live throughout the evening. Activities for children, including face painting, will be available, adding to the event’s family-friendly appeal.

The Sanger, TX Lions Club will also hold a flag retiring ceremony during the market, offering attendees an opportunity to observe this meaningful tradition that honors worn American flags with a respectful retirement process.

In addition to the June 7 event, organizers have announced that the Moonlight Market will return for two more dates later this summer: Saturday, August 2, and Saturday, September 6. Each market will feature a rotating lineup of vendors and entertainment, with new attractions planned for the upcoming events.

Organizers encourage early arrival, as parking and vendor items can go quickly due to the event’s popularity. The Moonlight Market is free to attend and open to the public.
