Elks Lodge looking for a home...

Due to losing their lease for the facility at the Ray Roberts Marina, Lake Ray Roberts Area Elks Lodge has not a place to call their own for almost a year.

Because of the I-35 Highway and FM 455 expansion, all available empty building in the Sanger area were snapped up.

Due to the generosity of the Sanger Chamber of Commerce, the Lodge has been able to hold twice monthly required meetings but lack of space has prevented the Lodge from holding fundraisers and other events to benefit the community.

At the present time, members are taking donations and will be giving away a whole beef already prepared for the locker. Anyone interested may call Connie stack at 940-206-8607 or at her shop on I-35 Service Road South.

The Lodge is requesting any information regarding a building they can rent on a permanent or temporary basis.
