Denton County Outer Loop Meetings

To address increasing growth in the region, Denton County has partnered with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to study a potential new location east-west freeway portion of the Regional Outer Loop in Denton County from I-35 to the Dallas North Tollway.

The current phase of the study is focused on evaluating potential routes, including in consideration of comments received during the first public meetings in May 2023. Input from this meeting will help identify alignments to be assessed in greater detail as the study progresses. No decisions have been made about a final alignment.
