Cowling Road Clear Creek Bridge Closed

Last week the Cowling Road Bridge (pictured below) built over Clear Creek was demolitioned. Workers prep the area for the new bridge (pictured above). On Monday, July 18th, the Texas Department of Transportation closed the bridge, for a full removal and replacement. The bridge is located south of Sanger, parallel with I-35. A $2.8 million project to remove and replace the bridge, with completion expected by spring 2023.
