SANGER, TX September 22, 2025, the City of Sanger and the Sanger Fire Department are actively responding to the aftermath of the severe weather event that impacted the community overnight from September 21 to September 22, 2025.

Their swift support was instrumental in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

During the severe weather event, one subject was removed from an overturned trailer. A mutual aid company transported the subject to Presbyterian Hospital. The patient was unresponsive upon removal, and CPR was initiated during transport.

Damage assessments across the city are currently underway. City officials urge residents to remain cautious and to report any hazards, including downed power lines, damaged structures, or other safety concerns, to the appropriate authorities.

“The safety of our community remains our top priority,” said City Manager John Noblitt. “We are grateful for the extraordinary efforts of our first responders, the mutual aid partners who stepped in to assist, and the resilience of our residents as we work together to recover.”

Further updates will be provided as assessments continue.
