Glenn Polk Autoplex family of dealerships just got a lot bigger

There is some exciting news happening in the automotive business world here in Denton County. The Glenn Polk Autoplex family of dealerships just got a whole lot bigger with the edition of Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC. On March 15th, 2019 the Polk’s purchased the Luttrull-McNatt Chevrolet dealership at 1405 North Stemmons in Sanger.

This location has been in the community for a very long time, and has thousands of previous customers. “We are so excited to have the opportunity to carry on a long standing presence of General Motors products in Sanger, TX”, says Glenn Polk. In addition to this location, they also purchased the Cole-McNatt Chevy, Buick, GMC dealership in Gainesille too.

Glenn Polk started in the car business in 1971, and has been in it ever since. He moved his family to Gainesville in 1995 and opened the Ford store on I-35. Three years later, he opened the Ram, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, FIAT dealership next door. His two sons, Trent and Shawn, work side by side with him, and are partners in all of the dealerships. Also, the 3rd generation of Polks – Conner Polk, runs one of their used car departments and handles all social media. “It’s a real blessing to have three generations of us being family-owned and operated since 1995, and we are all still going strong,” says Shawn Polk.
