She was selected first-team All-Area by the Denton Record-Chronicle. She averaged 13.0 ppg, with 4.0 rpg, 3.0 apg and one block per outing, her senior year. She led Sanger to the Regional Finals this year and was the glue of the team, with her versatility. She went down with a season knee injury last season and SHS missed the playoffs. Her sophomore year, SHS advanced three rounds in the playoffs, but fell to Dallas Lincoln. She is a 4-year starter for the Lady Indians. Southeastern head women’s basketball coach Darin Grover said, “Players that excel at the midrange game are rare,” said Grover. “Maci performs at a high level at this distance. She can also shoot the three and go inside and post. We love players that are versatile, and Maci fits that description. She comes from a great program at Sanger and from a strong select team with Lonestar. We believe she can have an immediate impact with our program.”
