Sarah York voted SISD Board President

At Monday night’s SISD board meeting, the district reorganized the school board, swore in new members and recognized outgoing board members.

After more than a decade serving on the Sanger ISD school board, outgoing President Mr. Ken Scribner was honored with a commemorative plaque. Dr. Dale Gleason was also recognized for his service.

New board members Mr. Jesse Hunter and Mr. Bruce Elsey were sworn in, along with newly re-elected Mrs. Lisa Cody.

Lastly, Mrs. Sarah York was unanimously voted Board President. Mr. Mitch Hammonds was unanimously voted Board Vice President, and Mrs. Ann Marie Afflerbach was unanimously voted School Board Secretary.
