Female armed robbery suspect arrested
As of Monday, one suspect has been arrested for the aggravated robbery that occurred at Cool Vapes in Sanger on December 14th. Nichole Dawn Williamson, 24, of Denton, was arrested on 12/16/2022 by officers from the Sanger and Denton police departments, Denton County Sheriff’s Office, and Texas DPS and charged with one count of Aggravated Robbery, a first-degree felony. Ms. Williamson was placed in the Denton County Jail and arraigned, with the arraigning magistrate setting bail at $10,000. She was released on 12/18/2022 after posting bond. The investigation into the robbery is still ongoing and additional charges associated with the case are expected.
At approximately 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, the aggravated robbery occurred at the shop at 904 S, 5th Street in Sanger. A male and female dressed in all black, gloves, face coverings, and sunglasses entered the store. They displayed a handgun and forced the employee into a bathroom, then proceeded to take cash and merchandise from the store. They left the store in a red Kia Soul with no license plate visible in the surveillance video. The employee was not harmed during the robbery.
