Tickets are now on sale for the Sanger Education Foundation’s annual Gala – an “Evening for Education” – set for Saturday evening, March 3, 2018 at the McClain’s Sundown Room, 13037 N. I-35 in Sanger.
This year’s theme is “Once Upon a Wish.” Live entertainment will be provided by Bubba Harper.
Funds raised from the Gala, the Sanger Education Foundation’s only fundraiser of the year, helps support funding initiatives designed to strengthen the quality of education in Sanger ISD.
The “Once Upon a Wish” event will feature both signature silent and live auction, as well as local restaurants presenting samplings of specialty cuisine dishes. This year’s presenting sponsor is Sanger Family Dentistry. Event sponsors are Eikon, DATCU, North Texas Print Solutions, Luttrull McNatt Chevrolet, and Gage Dental.
Local restaurants providing dinner stations this year will be:
• Miguelito’s: Beef Fajitas, Chicken Fajitas
• Bolivar St. BBQ: Beef Ribs, Jalapeno Brisket Macaroni & Cheese
• Pellegrino’s Italian Restaurant: Chicken a la Murphy
• Parker Bros. Trail Dust: Prime Rib, Potato Casserole
• Southern BBQ: Brisket Sliders, Ribs, Slaw
• Babe’s Chicken Dinner House: Smoked Chicken, Fried Chicken, Salad
• Radical Hospitality Group: will feature one of their concepts; menu to be announced.
Sonic of Sanger will be the official beverage-provider again at this year’s Gala.
Also back this year will be the popular “Dessert Frenzy” as well as the “Wine Pull.”
There are several ways to support the event which are outlined below, but most importantly, the Sanger Education Foundation would love to have your attendance at the event. SEF is a public, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and contributions are tax deductible as defined by the Internal Revenue Code.
The annual event, which sells 300-350 tickets each year, is a great opportunity to showcase your business and show your support of the foundation. One of the easiest means to show your support of the event is to donate an item to either the live or silent auction. Auction items are currently being sought for the Gala, and arrangements can be made to collect your donation at your convenience. Please contact the foundation office for shipping arrangements or for pickup by calling 940-458-4859. Items may also be mailed to P.O. Box 429, Sanger, Texas 76266.
Businesses and individuals who donate items will be recognized by SEF in the official program and will also be listed via a card placed in front of the donated auction item.
For businesses or local groups interested in reserving their own table, SEF offers reserved tables at the event with seating for 8. Special arrangements can be accommodated. Reserved Table packages begin at $1,000.
But, hurry and purchase your tickets early. You can purchase tickets individually for $75 per person that include two beverage tickets per person. Couples tickets can be purchased for $125 per couple. District employees can purchase tickets at $60 per person, limit 2.
